Crystal Rodriguez, Esq., the City of Buffalo’s first chief diversity officer, is hosting an interactive and intimate business retreat April 26-28, 2019, at the Hotel Henry Urban Resort & Conference Center, 444 Forest Ave., Buffalo, N.Y. 14213.
The Attract, Manifest, Repeat Retreat is focused on bringing together exceptional women who will share their stories, insights, and lessons of entrepreneurship, and will provide workshops and tools to help women business owners develop their paths to business growth and sustainability.
“It was important for me to bring resources, information, and motivation into one event,” said Rodriguez. “It was also important that this event be in Buffalo, N.Y. People travel to places such as Atlanta, Vegas, and Charlotte for these types of events, so why not here in Buffalo? Our talent is second to none, and something of this magnitude can be done here as well as it can be done in any of those places.”
Speakers from the local area and around the country will present on topics such as social media planning, planning for your business, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, successfully pitching to investors, marketing to your consumer base, and financial literacy for entrepreneurs. In addition, participants will meet with attorneys who will provide them a step-by-step process to legally structure their business and create contacts for future use.
The keynote speaker for the retreat is entrepreneur coach Mahlia Cox, who specializes in helping her clients make more of a social impact while increasing their income.
Other presenters include Christine Bishop, owner, HighKlass Hair Boutique Salon; Dr. Keli-Koran Holder Luchey, founder and CEO of Lucid Pathways, LLC; Jennifer J. Parker, president and owner, Jackson Parker Communications; Ryan Courton, certified physical trainer and owner of Get-A-Grip Fitness; Samantha Costello, social media influencer and creator of www.brandyoselfgirl.com; Toni Piccone, LMT, owner of Un-Thai the Knots Mind and Body Therapy; Nicholle Overkamp, financial planner and retirement planning specialist; Donna M.
